1993 RR Radio

A friend of mine at work is looking for a replacement. If you have one that is working and with take $50 let me know. Otherwise he would probably be better off sending his to Roverville.

John at Roverville set me up with a new original Clarion unit when I needed one and with an Ipod/Aux plug adapter, the original radios aren't perfect but I've never had any trouble with Roverville aka gb4x4radios. To me he seems dedicated to keeping these Rover radios operational.

I've got one as well. No problems, but to each their own.

Maybe I've been lucky, but have had 3 radios from John and haven't had any issues... sometimes a bit slow, but nothing showstopping. Really happy how I can keep the stock radio and get the aux input.

Thanks everyone for the inputs. My experience was not very good so I have suggested he try to find a working used one cheap and perhaps have his original looked at by Roverville. When I sent mine to him he obviously mixed mine up with some else's. First he said my code didn't work which was wrong because it was the orig radio and I have all the original documentation. Arguing with him was a waste of time. What he sent back was not what I sent him which was very disappointing. He charged me all these extras for his hard work of figuring out the correct code and less that a year later the radio started having all the classic problems. To me it seems like he switched out a face plate, tested it and sent it back 3 months later. He's a strange dude.
