My ARB bumper already has a set of additional tabs welded onto it for attaching kayak straps and for the top part I used a set of Rigid LED light brackets that I had left over. The Rigid brackets fits perfectly in the slot on the top of the new Front Runner Racks. I will do a field test in the woods as soon as my Front Runner roll cage clamp feet are ready.

All built in Solidworks and I am about to have the clamps machined and test fitted. After extensive research I found that no wide clamps exists, particularly not out of aluminum. Does anyone here have access to a CNC and would be willing to help machining the clamps? I have quoted several local options. All doable just crazy expensive.

Looks from initial research like it would be easier and more cost effective to find a good D2 locking case to swap out with mine, then the ashcroft ratio conversion. Before anyone asks, I want to keep my 1.4 case in case I don't like the 1.2, so i can go back. If I like it, I'll sell it then.

Can anyone confirm if a D2 locking t-case will be a straight fit to my R380 and shifters? I'm assuming I would have to change the prop flange, but other than that?

Luckily I have come across PTSchram (LR guru) on the Fort Wayne Land Rover site and am looking forward to meeting him.

I am excited about diving head first into older Land Rovers. We frequent Costa Rica and that is where I first discovered the Defender. WOW, what a beauty. I am open minded at this point about what kind of Land Rover I want to get, but honestly I think I am sold on a Defender. Since I have 3 kids I figure that a 110 is probably the way to go for space purposes. I ultimately want to use it as an everyday driver too. I would love to teach my boy how to work on a truck and this community appears exceptional. I am curious is there any kind of resource showing the different specs on the defenders by year so I can compare and contrast the different models? Any advice would be great! I am not quite sure how I want to buy one yet either. Having one imported sounds attractive, but complicated, any advice there would be great too. In my perfect scenario I would like something I can drive daily, but something the boy and I can completely refurbish.

I used a NAS 110 bumper as the template and the shop built the jig and the bumpers. They will not make anymore due to scheduling. The NAS 110 and ROW 110 have the same frame. There is only going to be an increase in demand for a class 3 style hitch with a 2 inch receivers as more and more ROW 110 head to our shores. Bumper and jig are $1,500 plus shipping. The jig took a ton of time to make and has only surface rust. I do not have the time to continue to continue with finding another shop to reproduce these bumpers so hopefully for 110 owners someone will pick this up and run with it.

I did unplug my two silver relays (fuel/ecu) when I serviced my fuel pump recently as I am still troubleshooting my intermittent bucking/misfiring (driving me nuts).

My first thought when I saw this code was it was due to pulling the relays. So I cleared the code and pulled them again, but this code did not come on yet. I will drive around tomorrow and see if it will come back, but what could it possibly be?

The definition is: Identifies that the tune select resistor is open circuit- refer to tune select resistor test. The tune resistor is embedded in the wire harness. This code may indicate damage to the wire harness.

But all my research on the NAS 90's is that there is NO tune resistor (particularly from this article and others research http://www.britishv8.org/articles/rover-14cux-efi.htm )

Anyone see this code before?
